The Aberdeen Sports Person of the Year Ceremony was held on Friday 1st June at the Beach Ballroom. Curl Aberdeen had a very successful evening winning more awards than any other sport.
Tom Brewster won the Aberdeen City Council Sports Person of the Year in recognition of his achievements during 2011, including his World Mens Silver Medal.
Rhiann Macleod won Aberdeen Sports Council's Award for Amateur Female after becoming Scottish Junior Ladies, Scottish Ladies and World Junior Ladies Champion in 2011.
Team Brewster won the Aberdeen Sports Council award for Team of the Year.
