Open Day

Curl Aberdeen will be holding an Open Day on Saturday 29th September with Try Curling sessions from 10am – 12pm and 1pm – 3pm. These are free taster sessions led by qualified coaches. Please encourage friends and family to come along and try our sport. The more people who try, the more members you are likely to have for your club! Sooyang Do martial arts will also be offering taster sessions throughout the day.

Ladies Day
Wednesday 26th September 2012 9.30am – 2.30pm

There are still a few spaces left on this year’s Ladies Day. With the support of the Royal Caledonian Curling Club and Aberdeen Ladies Centre we hope to make this day as successful as last year. Ladies of all abilities will be catered for. The format of the day will be 2 hours on the ice with RCCC qualified coaches, a soup and sandwich lunch followed by a tactics workshop. Cost is £15 per person.

Master Class
6th October 2012

We will be holding a Royal Caledonian Curling Club Master Class on 6th October. This is open to curlers of all ages and abilities and is a great way of improving your game with the help of some of Scotland’s top coaches. The day will involve on-ice stations covering various aspects of the game along with a strategy and tactics workshop. Lunch will be provided. Cost £25 per person

Umpires Course
Saturday 29th September 2012

The Royal Caledonian Curling Club will be holding an Umpiring Course led by experienced umpire Alan Stanfield. This is for anyone interested in learning to be an umpire, and would be particularly useful for those who have done Time Clocks in the past at European and Scottish Junior Championships.
