Curl Aberdeen Mixed Senior Open

The Curl Aberdeen Mixed Senior Open was held from 2nd - 4th November. Sixteen teams took part and were split into two sections of 8 for the Saturdays competition. After two games the top four went to the High Road and the bottom four went to the Low Road. Aberdeen's Arthur Beattie and his team of Phemie Philip, Mike Ritchie and Jeanette Graham were the winners of the high road beating Jim Stevensons team from Kinross in the final. Local team Bill Morrison and his team of Judith Carr, Ronnie Whyte and Rosemary Morrison won the low road.

It was a very social competition with a hugely successful dinner dance on the Saturday evening with entertainment from singer George Cormack.
