The Aberdeen Ladies Centre had a meeting on Monday to discuss the up coming season. The first of the many events is the Betty Kitson One Day Bonspiel.
The ladies are looking for more teams or individuals to take part. Judith Carr writes:
"Come join the fun at 'The Betty Kitson' one day Bonspiel.
The date is the 9th of Oct., and starts with morning coffee, includes lunch, 3
five end games and afternoon tea. It is a total ends format played on a schenkel
system.
This year there will be 3 sections, the third section is for
novice teams and individuals. There will be prizes in each section for 1st and
2nd place providing we have a full 24 team entry. If less than 16 teams only 1
prize per section.
The cost is £96.00 per team or £24.00 per player payable
with entry and should be sent to Curl Aberdeen attn: Aberdeen Ladies Centre.
Cheques payable to Aberdeen Ladies Centre.
It is hoped that all the ladies will support this event,
come enjoy a social and fun filled day with good curling to match!"
