Competitions



Entries are now open for the Aberdeen City Open which will run from Friday 30th January – Sunday 1st February 2015.
Games will begin at 12.30pm on Friday 30th January. A total of 24 teams can be accommodated and will be split into two sections of 12. The final will be held at 3pm on Sunday 1st February. All teams are guaranteed four games under the Schenkel System.

Entries are now open for the Aberdeen Ladies Open which will run from Friday 14th – Sunday 16th November 2014.
The Aberdeen Ladies Open is a competitive event open to twelve teams on a first come first served basis. The format of the competition is two sections of 6 teams playing a round robin followed by a final and 3v4 playoff. This guarantees all teams a minimum of five games.

Entries are now open for the The Lockhart Trophy which will run from Friday 14th – Sunday 16th November 2014.
The Lockhart Trophy is a new event for 2014 which has been named after Jackie Lockhart to recognise all the support she has given to curling in Aberdeen. This is going to be a more social event aimed at encouraging all ages and abilities of lady curler to play at a more competitive level. It is open to twelve teams on a first come first served basis with the format being a Schenkel followed by a final and 3v4 playoff. This guarantees all teams a minimum of four games.
