Black Bottle Club Bonspiel
This weekend is the start of our Club Bonspiels sponsored by Black Bottle and sees Rotary, Granite City Ladies, Turriff, Rubislaw, AWW, Haddo House, Petroleum, Meldrum & Daviot, Aberdeen Ladies and Donald's all competing.
This competition sees 3 games played over the day in a Schenkel format, with the day being broken up with refreshment intervals of Butteries on arrival, Soup & Sandwiches at Lunch and Try Bakes before the final round of games, all accompanied by Tea & Coffee.
We have decided that you won't know who you play in the first round until 5 mins before going on the Ice, when your skips will pick balls out a bag saying which sheet your team will be allocated (we do this at the City Open and it's fun way of making the draw).
There will be a camera floating about taking pictures of the event, so can't say I haven't given you warning!
