School Festival

Friday just past and for the next two Fridays coming Curl Aberdeen host 90 children, each day. Leading up to them coming in, we send out sets of New Age Kurling to the schools involved, and are taught the basics of curling in their school hall. They arrive at Curl Aberdeen and are split into two groups, with one group spending an hour up in our Hall refreshing themselves with New Age Kurling and the other group spends an hour on the Ice putting into practice what they have learnt in school and are coached further on the ice.

Festive Period

Big thanks to Wendy Letham and Catherine Beattie (both Granite City Ladies) for decorating our Lounge and making it festive. Since I took this photo they have also come in and added table decorations. It wouldn't have looked this good if Tom, Ryan and Myself had got our hands on the decorations...
