Accord Aberdeen City Open

Accord Aberdeen City Open

Big thanks to our sponsors Accord Energy Solutions, this was their first year sponsoring this event, hopefully they continue to do so. Another thanks to our competitors, who made the weekend a great social affair.

For the folk that didn't/couldn't come in to watch, the line-up consisted of teams trying to win the Scottish Curling Tour, Warm-up for National Championships, Junior World Championships, Father/Son Duo's, University Teams and Friends.

Below you will find the final standings of the teams after their 4 games, for the line scores click here.

Here are some photos from the weekend, photography shifts swapped around by Maggie Wilson & Stuart McLachlan.

Once the curling was finished on Saturday night and it was official who had made the quarter-finals, it was time for the Race Night held at the rink. This year the night was hosted by Struan Wood and Andy Mac, and whoever said Red and Green should never be seen was wrong, this comedy duo had the audience in stitches with their grilling of the spectators and competitors.
