10th Anniversary Bonspiel

To celebrate opening in Jan 2005, Curl Aberdeen held a fun bonspiel which was open to all its members. We had a good turn out, managing to create 16 teams. The format was schenkel, 2 games of 3 ends in the group.  Top and Runners up from the two sections played in 3/4 and 1/2 game. Between the two games Curl Aberdeen provided food for the players, along with some Birthday Cake, Tea & Coffee.

The final was played between Alan Johnston and Brenda Urquhart, and the 3/4 was between Martin Forster and George Rogerson.

It was good to see everyone take part, and enjoy themselves, it certainly was a great way to finish the first week of being opened.
