Team McBain in Super League C must of been in a hurry on Monday night, as they wasted no time and took an 8 in the first end. Safe to say they went on to win the game!

Curling Competitions Last Weekend
At the weekend we had a number of Curl Aberdeen members playing in outside competitions. Braehead Open kick started the Scottish Curling Tour this season and sees David Edwards (Team MacDonald) & Fraser Kingan (Team Bryce) took part, both were in section B. Can follow scores here from the weekend.
Dave Edwards team, Team MacDonald, made it to the final, losing to Team Hardie for the title of Braehead Open winners 2015. This event was counting towards collecting points to qualify for the Scottish Championships.

Also this past weekend Megan McPherson took her Under 17 team (all Curl Aberdeen Juniors - Katy Young, Tamzin Smith & Jennifer Castle-Anderson), they played in Section A along side fellow Curl Aberdeen Junior Scott Lockhart, who skipped his own team. Scott managed to get qualify for the Low Road Q/F's but lost out there. You can see their results here.
