Club Bonspiel
This took place on Saturday 28 November. This was a full entry, which is great, we had 12 teams of all ages and abilities, competing for the winners spot on the day. Petroleum came out winners overall, with Meldrum & Daviot coming second ( great to see so many Juniors being involved and even going home with Xmas presents for their parents!). The final installment of this club bonpsiel format concludes 13th February when clubs can still win the overall prize with the combined score of two of their best scores from the three spiels. So all is still up for grabs!!!!

Andrew Mitchell Points
Here is your chance to become champion of the Rink's points competition. Entry is open to all members, with the sign up sheet next to the door. This competition is being run on Saturday the 12th December. We are expecting a good turn out with many of the clubs using this competition to score their own points. Sign up quick or you may miss out on your preferred time!
President's Day
Judith Carr organised a day in which all the lady curlers at Curl Aberdeen were invited to play in a day time funspiel followed by Tea & Scones. 30 female curlers took part and played in 10 teams, the format was 2 games playing 3 ends. The overall winner was the team Skipped by Jane Wilson from Granite City Ladies. The idea behind this event was to get all the ladies together as they all play on different days and hadn't seen each other this whole season yet. It was a good day with good curling on show and some excellent home made things on the make and take table!
Henderson Bishop
This Saturday & Sunday sees our qualifiers for this year's Ladies Branch competition The Henderson Bishop, which is to be held in Lockerbie Ice Rink. The official blurb about it is "
The Ladies Challenge Trophy (presented by A Henderson Bishop) is run by the LSC and the host ice centre. Qualification rounds take place at ice centres throughout the season, and finalists from each ice centre compete in the Final held at Lockerbie Ice Rink from 29th February 2016."
