Goldline Scottish Curling Tour Heats Up For City Open

Goldline Scottish Curling Tour

Team Brewster turned up the heat on leaders Team Edwards in the latest round of the tour, defeating Team Edwards in the final of the Kinross Open, with both Curl Aberdeen teams leading the charge for the title this season with 6 points separating the two teams and only Curl Aberdeen's event Accord Aberdeen City Open to go (30th January - 1st February)




Team Brewster defeated Team Edwards with a decent last rock by Tom, you can work out how the stone got there by looking at the images they posted on Facebook.

Tuesday Afternoon League

The winter section of the Afternoon League came to a conclusion on Tuesday, with Brian Yeats winning. His team consisted Alan Johnston, Jennie Duncan and John Cormack.

Rink Championships

The qualifiers to represent Curl Aberdeen at the Rink Championships in Forfar resulted in Meldrum & Daviot winning the right to go. The team Skipped by Steven Eddie, defeated AWW skipped by Neil Potter.


Directors Cup 

The Directors Cup High Road Final was played between Petroleum and AWW, with Petroleum, skipped by Ian Grigor claiming victory over AWW, skipped by Neil Potter.

The Low Road Final was played at the same time, between Meldrum & Daviot and Northern Lights, with Meldrum & Daviot winning this, skipped by William Allan against Northern Lights skipped by Bill Gibb.

Thursday League
