Happy New Year

Hope everyone has a had a good festive period and are ready for the second half of the season.

Club Bonspiel

We hold the final stage of our Black Bottle Club Bonpsiel on the 17th, hope all the clubs competing have their teams sorted. Entry fee includes Tea/Coffee & Butteries on arrival, Soup & Sandwiches at Lunch then later Traybakes before the last game. The first two events have been a success with all competing having a great time.


Scottish Juniors

We are only two weeks away from the start of this national championships. This competition looks to crown the national junior (under 21's) champion, with winners of the Mens and Ladies going on to represent Scotland at the World Juniors, an event we have recently been given in 2018.  Games start on Tuesday and spectators are more than welcome to come along, watch, buy a drink.

Accord Aberdeen City Open

The weekend after the Juniors, Curl Aberdeen hosts the final stage of the Scottish Curling Tour. The City Open is a great social competition (Saturday night entertainment/ Buffet included in entry fee) in which local and competitive Curlers takes part. This is another competition which, if you aren't competing in, can come along and watch some curling. Entries are open for this competition, for more details please contact Development@curl-aberdeen.co.uk.

All levels of curlers participate, Olympians to Funded Curlers to Lewis, all which makes for a great social competition.
